Formed in late 2017, Leyda is an Indie Rock/Baroque Pop band based in Buffalo, NY. While the band currently functions as a collective, it is headed by front-woman Saffi (piano/keyboard, vocals, clarinet), and Jose Rojas, virtuoso (violin).
“Fronted by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Saffi, Leyda is in your face and ethereal at the same time, with vibe heavy rhythms and surging riffs charging over strings and a shimmering clarinet that cuts through the looming darkness, and beautifully wrought lyrics that have levels upon levels, features all in even sharper focus on the assured and brave Hallways.” – Buffablog
Belle-Skinner is a dark nostalgic singer-songwriter based in upstate New York and Brooklyn. With a hauntingly beautiful, lilting soprano and innate sense of melody she crafts tales of songbirds, sirens and desert nomads – nuanced and layered stories which bridge the gap between past and present. Though her influences cover a broad range of genres – from French chansons and Russian folk to contemporary alt-pop and rock – her voice often draws comparisons to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Angel Olsen, and Lana Del Rey.
Ciarra Fragale is an indie pop act born and raised in NY’s Hudson Valley. By blending the nostalgic traditions of songwriting with unique new-wave sensibilities, she creates a sound all her own. Ciarra spent years playing solo, until early last year when she joined forces with Kingston drummer Eli Marzano. Since then they have brought their dynamic set all across the Northeast, opening for renowned acts like Sammy Rae & the Friends. Ciarra’s second full-length release “Call It What You Will” is available on all streaming platforms. Visit her at ciarrafragale.com!
