Join the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus this May for Ode to the Icons—a Pride tribute honoring the legends who’ve lit the way. From queer trailblazers to cultural titans, we’ll celebrate the voices, stories, and songs that shaped generations. Bold, heartfelt, and fabulous—this is a love letter to the icons who inspire us to sing louder, stand taller, and live proudly.

The Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus season closing concert featuring special guest appearances by Mrs. Kasha Davis and Cynthia Lee Fontaine (two alumni from RuPaul’s Drag Race) will be a high-energy and playful celebration of legendary artists and pop culture icons meaningful to the queer community.

“We’re excited to perform a concert that is a celebration that’s filled with joy, reflection, and connection,” said Dr. Robert Strauss, Artistic Director of the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus. “Ode to the Icons invites audiences to relive the music and moments that shaped us, while celebrating the vibrant spirit of our community.”

Patrons can choose to purchase a VIP ticket to attend a meet-and-greet with Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Mrs. Kasha Davis before the concert, starting at 6:30pm
