Special Needs

Q: Is Babeville wheelchair accessible?
Babeville is accessible for individuals with special needs and meets ADA guidelines.

The Asbury Hall floor level is wheelchair accessible. There is also an elevator here for easy access to the 9th Ward, Hallwalls Cinema and Box office. A washroom is located in the main lobby for the convenience of patrons unable to use stairs to other patron lounges.

When ordering tickets, please inform the ticket seller of any special requirements you may have so that appropriate seating may be obtained. Please be aware that Babeville staff members are not permitted to physically move or lift patrons from a wheelchair to a seat. If a patron can move to a seat from a wheelchair, the wheelchair must be stored by a staff member at the rear of the hall to prevent obstructions in the aisle.

Q: Do you have wheelchair/special needs accessible parking?
Limited Accessible Parking is available in our parking lot adjacent to the building. If possible, please try and make plans to have someone drop you off in front of the theatre if you have difficulty walking more than a few blocks. For specific parking inquiries, please call us at (716) 852-3835 during regular business hours.

**Please call the box office 716-852-3835 in advance to make ANY special arrangements required for medical issues – we cannot make exceptions to the rules day of show.

Misc. Babeville Info

Q: What is the food and drink policy for the theater?
Absolutely NO outside Food or Drink is allowed in Babeville. We do, however,  provide beverages (Soda, Water, Beer & Wine) for purchase to enjoy during the show.

Q: What is the venue’s camera policy?
We defer to the artist’s photo policy – most national touring artists have a ‘no camera’ policy unless a photographer is pre-approved for a photo pass by band management.  If the artist does not have a camera policy in place Babeville generally allows cameras (NO Flash Photography) to performances. Please call ahead to determine the specific camera policy for the show you are attending to ensure that your camera does not get taken from you at the door.

Q: Who do I contact about lost and found items?
Call the Babeville office at (716) 852-3835

Q: Are there any nearby restaurants or hotels?
There are a number of hotels and restaurants nearby, too many to list. Our recommendation is to go to Google Maps, enter our address (341 Delaware Ave) and search “Nearby” for restaurants.

Q: Where is the best place to park?

There is a parking lot that wraps around the building with entrances on Delaware and W. Tupper, reserved parking spots are reserved until 5pm, but may be used by patrons after that time.

If the parking lot for the building is closed (which is sometimes necessary) or filled, parking is abundant on the street with spaces available on Delaware Avenue, Elmwood Avenue and Franklin Street, which are free of charge after 5pm and on weekends.
There are also plenty of alternate parking lots (pay to park) within walking distance of Babeville. Including:
Pay to Park #70 on the corner of Franklin and W. Tupper
Pay to Park #74 on Franklin between W. Tupper and Chippewa
There are additional small paid lots on Franklin between W. Tupper and Edward
